Alaska permit practice test 1
Twenty questions on the basics every new Alaska driver needs: the permit age and who may supervise you, STOP and YIELD signs, red and yellow lights, the residential speed limit, safety belts, turn signals, headlights, school buses, emergency vehicles, blood alcohol limits, what to do after a crash and the vision standard. Four of the questions show a road sign. Every answer comes from the Alaska Driver Manual (revised October 2025). The real Alaska DMV General Knowledge Test has 20 questions, and you need 16 correct answers within 25 minutes to pass, so this set uses the same format: 20 questions, 16 correct to pass, 25 minutes.
Exam mode: timed, answers at the end, like the real test. Practice mode: untimed, the answer and explanation after each question.
