California permit practice test 1
Thirty questions on the basics every new California driver needs: traffic lights, lane lines, colored curbs, speed limits in towns and near schools, emergency vehicles and school buses, blood alcohol limits, seat belts and what to do after a collision. Every answer comes from the California Driver's Handbook. The DMV states an 80% pass mark for the knowledge test but does not publish how many questions it contains, so our sets have 30 questions and you need 24 correct to pass. Our sets have no time limit.
Exam mode: timed, answers at the end, like the real test. Practice mode: untimed, the answer and explanation after each question.
