Delaware practice tests
The Delaware Class D knowledge test has 32 multiple-choice questions on highway signs, signals, pavement markings, Delaware's rules of the road and safe driving, and you need 26 correct to pass. Teens aged 16 and 17 apply for a Level One Learner's Permit after finishing an approved driver education course; adults pass an eye screening and the knowledge test at a DMV office to get a learner's permit. Our free Delaware practice sets follow the real format, 32 questions with 26 to pass, and every answer comes from the Delaware Driver Manual (July 2026 edition).

| Signs part | Part of the knowledge test; no separate pass mark publishedThe manual lists a Highway Sign and Signal Test and a Rules of the Road Test among the parts of the driver examination, but neither the manual nor the DMV's pages publish a separate question count or pass mark for the signs questions. The only published rule is 26 of 32 for the Class D knowledge test, so our sets mix about six sign-picture questions into each test of 32. | Delaware Driver Manual (July 2026), PDFchecked 2026-11-01 |
