Kentucky permit practice test 6
Forty of the hardest questions in our Kentucky set: license eligibility, permit documents, the Medical Review Board, out-of-state and military rules, DUI details, child safety, parking maneuvers, skids, vehicle failures, trucks on hills, traffic stops, ATVs, rural roads and trailers, with ten sign questions shown as pictures. Every answer comes from the Kentucky Driver Manual. The real written test covers driving rules, regulations, procedures and highway signs, and you need a score of at least 80 percent to pass. Kentucky does not publish how many questions it has, so 40 questions is our own practice size, and you need 32 correct (80 percent) to pass. There is no time limit.
Exam mode: timed, answers at the end, like the real test. Practice mode: untimed, the answer and explanation after each question.

A sample question
Your engine dies while you are driving. What should you expect from the steering and brakes?
- Steering locks completely, so you must stop at once in your own lane
- Brakes stop working entirely, so shift into park while still moving
- Steering will be harder to turn but still works; use steady brake pressure
- Nothing changes, so you can keep on driving to your destination as usual
Marked when you take the test; the explanation appears in your review.
