Mississippi permit practice test 1

Thirty questions on the basics every new Mississippi driver needs: traffic lights, STOP and YIELD signs, school zone and interstate speed limits, seat belts, the car-length following rule, school buses, emergency vehicles, the .08 and .02 alcohol limits, texting and the learner's permit. Every answer comes from the Mississippi Driver's License Manual (revised December 2024). The Mississippi Department of Public Safety does not publish how many questions the Computerized Exam has or the score needed to pass, so this set uses our own practice standard: 30 questions, 24 correct (80 percent) to pass. There is no time limit.
