New Hampshire knowledge practice test 6

Our hardest New Hampshire set, with forty questions on fine detail: winding road, stop ahead, interstate shield, reserved parking, one-lane bridge and farm equipment signs, out-of-state and military drivers, renewals, driver education hours, what happens after you pass or miss a test, languages and vision, demerit points, hot cars, belts and air bags, trailers, Sherrill's Law, police stops, fire trucks, trucks on hills and at intersections, motorcycles and bicycles on rough surfaces, braking distance and parking distances. Every answer comes from the New Hampshire Driver's Manual or the DMV testing page. The real knowledge test has 40 multiple-choice questions and you need 80%, which is 32 correct, to pass, so this set uses the same format, with the same 40-minute limit the manual gives.

A sample question

You get a speeding ticket while driving in another state. What does the manual say can happen?

  • It will be cancelled once you show your New Hampshire license
  • It may be reported to New Hampshire and affect your record here
  • It cannot affect your record, since only New Hampshire tickets count
  • It counts only if you were driving a car registered in that state

Marked when you take the test; the explanation appears in your review.
