Oregon permit practice test 3
Thirty-five questions on lanes, markings and sharing the road: center turn lane, left turn yield on green, DO NOT PASS, winding road, crossroad, reduced speed and route signs, yellow and red arrows, advisory speeds, two-way left turn lanes, painted medians, yield lines, transit lanes, space cushions, curves, being passed, missed exits, breakdowns, hand signals, U-turns, roundabouts, white canes, sidewalks, sharrows, motorcycles, trucks, fog, ice and phones for drivers under 18. Every answer comes from the Oregon Driver Manual. The real Oregon Class C knowledge test has 35 multiple-choice questions and you must answer 28 correctly to pass, so this set uses the same format: 35 questions, 28 to pass. Oregon DMV does not state a time limit, and our sets have none.
Exam mode: timed, answers at the end, like the real test. Practice mode: untimed, the answer and explanation after each question.

A sample question
How should you drive through a curve?
- Slow down before entering, then increase speed gradually as you come out
- Brake hard in the middle of the curve, then speed up again on the way out
- Move toward the center line to see better around the curve as you go
- Speed up as you enter so the car holds the road better
Marked when you take the test; the explanation appears in your review.
