Rhode Island permit practice test 5

Twenty-five harder questions on the details: full license age, clean-record rules, expired permits, lane positions, IPDE and the Smith System, the four-second stopping rule, motorcycle helmet law, school buses on divided highways, the 500/200 rule, under-21 alcohol laws, the .05 rule, vehicles in water, black ice and other laws drivers must know. The RI DMV does not publish the number of questions on its computerized knowledge exam or the pass mark, so this set uses our own practice size: 25 questions, with 20 correct (80 percent) as our practice target, not an official rule. There is no time limit on our sets. Every answer comes from the Rhode Island Driver's Manual (rev. 08/2015), the manual the DMV still offers.
