Fable Tests

Road signs practice tests

Road signs are federal. The Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), published by the Federal Highway Administration, sets the shape, color and meaning of every sign, signal and pavement marking on public roads, and every state follows it, so a red octagon or a yellow warning diamond means the same thing in Texas as it does in New York. Learn the shapes, colors and meanings once and they carry over to the signs questions on any state's knowledge test. Our five free practice sets have 25 questions each, written from the MUTCD 11th Edition (Revision 1, December 2025), with no time limit.
