Wisconsin knowledge practice test 1
Fifty knowledge questions on the basics every new Wisconsin driver needs: traffic lights, the default speed limits, the four-second rule, right-of-way at four-way stops, school buses, emergency vehicles, seat belts, the under-21 alcohol rule and the instruction permit. Every answer comes from the Wisconsin Motorists' Handbook (BDS126, 2026) or the Wisconsin DMV's own pages. The real Wisconsin knowledge test has 50 questions and you need 40 correct (80 percent) to pass, so this set uses the same format: 50 questions, 40 to pass. Highway signs are a separate test with their own practice sets. There is no time limit.
Exam mode: timed, answers at the end, like the real test. Practice mode: untimed, the answer and explanation after each question.
