Germany citizenship test (Leben in Deutschland) · full test
Germany citizenship practice test 1 (Nordrhein-Westfalen)
A first full test on the foundations: the Basic Law (Grundgesetz) and how it ranks above other laws, the two votes in a Bundestag election, how the Chancellor is chosen and removed, the road from 1848 to reunification, and everyday rules on equality, religion and school. Like the real naturalisation test (Einbuergerungstest), it has 33 multiple-choice questions with four answers each, a 60-minute limit and a pass mark of 17. Questions 1 to 30 are on Germany as a whole; the last 3 are on the federal state (Land) of North Rhine-Westphalia (Nordrhein-Westfalen). In the real test those 3 are about the Land where you are registered, and there is no separate minimum for them.
Exam mode: timed, answers at the end, like the real test. Practice mode: untimed, the answer and explanation after each question.
