TOEFL iBT · full test
TOEFL iBT build a sentence practice set 2
Fourteen Build a Sentence items for the Writing section of the updated TOEFL iBT. Each asks you to rearrange scrambled word chunks into a correct reply to a short question or remark. This second set is harder: it uses embedded questions, conditionals, passives and relative clauses. It is untimed; the real Writing section is timed, and the Writing score is reported on a 1 to 6 scale.
Exam mode: timed, answers at the end, like the real test. Practice mode: untimed, the answer and explanation after each question.
