UK driving theory practice test 1

Fifty multiple-choice questions in the format of the real car theory test: you have 57 minutes and need 43 correct answers to pass. This first set covers the essentials from all fourteen DVSA topic areas, from mirrors and stopping distances to motorway lanes, road signs and first aid, and every answer comes from The Highway Code. Each question has four options and one correct answer. In the real test three of the fifty questions follow a short silent video clip; we cannot show video, so every question here is written. Hazard perception, the separate second part of the real theory test (14 video clips, 44 out of 75 to pass), is not offered on this site.
