CELPIP-General Reading practice test 7

A full CELPIP-General Reading practice test in the real format: four parts and 38 questions. Part 1, Reading Correspondence (questions 1 to 11), gives a workplace email and a reply; questions 1 to 6 ask about the email and questions 7 to 11 complete the reply. Part 2, Reading to Apply a Diagram (questions 12 to 19), gives a community centre program table and an email about it; because this site cannot show pictures, the diagram is written out as a simple text table. Part 3, Reading for Information (questions 20 to 28), gives an article in four paragraphs, A to D, and asks where each piece of information appears. Part 4, Reading for Viewpoints (questions 29 to 38), gives a newspaper article and a reader's comment; questions 34 to 38 complete the comment. Every question has four options and one correct answer. CELPIP gives the Reading Test a time allotment of 43 to 56 minutes; we allow 55 minutes, near the top of that range, so you can work at a realistic pace. The real test may also contain unscored trial questions that look the same as scored ones. CELPIP reports a level from 0 to 12 for each skill, and levels 3 to 12 match the same Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level. CELPIP does not publish how many correct answers give each level, so this practice test has no pass mark: use your total as a guide to progress, not as a predicted CELPIP level.
