Alabama permit practice test 1
Twenty-five questions on the basics every new Alabama driver needs: the learner license age and supervisor rule, STOP and YIELD signs, red lights, seat belts, blood alcohol limits, turn signals, following distance, school buses, emergency vehicles, fire hydrants, headlights and what to do after a crash, with five sign pictures. Every answer comes from the Alabama Driver Manual (November 2024) and official ALEA pages. ALEA does not publish how many questions the real knowledge test has or what score passes it; it says only that the test covers Alabama traffic laws, road signs and safe driving rules, taken from the Alabama Driver Manual, and that you must receive a passing grade. So 25 questions with 20 correct (80 percent) to pass is our own practice size and mark, not an official figure. Our practice tests have no time limit, and no official time limit is published.
Exam mode: timed, answers at the end, like the real test. Practice mode: untimed, the answer and explanation after each question.
