California permit practice test 3
Thirty questions on the rules that trip people up in everyday driving: flashing yellow arrows, left turns on red, crossing double yellow lines, carpool lanes and turnouts, when you may pass on the right, parking distances, uphill parking, 15 mph zones, buses and light rail, dimming your headlights, fog, a DUI arrest, insurance minimums and provisional passenger rules. Every answer comes from the California Driver's Handbook. The DMV states an 80% pass mark for the knowledge test but does not publish how many questions it contains, so our sets have 30 questions and you need 24 correct to pass. Our sets have no time limit.
Exam mode: timed, answers at the end, like the real test. Practice mode: untimed, the answer and explanation after each question.
