Illinois permit practice test 3
Twenty-five medium questions: lane-reduction, no-U-turn, signal-ahead and keep-right signs, passing distances and no-passing areas, flashing yellow arrows, lane-control signals, parking distances, school zones, GDL night and passenger limits, motorcycles, work zones, stopped emergency vehicles, yellow center lines, two-way left turn lanes, dimming for passing and DUI under 21. Every answer comes from the Illinois Rules of the Road 2026. The Illinois Rules of the Road does not publish how many questions the real written exam has or the score needed to pass, so this set uses our own practice rule: 25 questions, 20 correct (80 percent) to pass. Signs are part of the same written exam, so sign questions are mixed in. No time limit is published; our sets have none.
Exam mode: timed, answers at the end, like the real test. Practice mode: untimed, the answer and explanation after each question.
