Minnesota permit practice test 2
Thirty questions that build on the basics: how long to hold your permit, provisional license night and log rules, the alley speed limit, left turns, T intersections, green arrows and funeral processions, school bus lights on divided and undivided roads, following fire trucks, parallel and hill parking, passing and returning to your lane, low beams, entering a freeway and ramp meters, booster seats, motorcycles and large trucks, implied consent, how alcohol leaves the body, skids, and six road signs. Every answer comes from the Minnesota Driver's Manual (June 2026). The real Class D written test mixes multiple-choice and true-or-false questions on traffic laws and road signs, and you need 80 percent to pass. DVS does not publish how many questions it has, so 30 is our own practice size, and you need 24 of 30 (80 percent) to pass. Our practice tests are untimed.
Exam mode: timed, answers at the end, like the real test. Practice mode: untimed, the answer and explanation after each question.
