Rhode Island permit practice test 1
Twenty-five questions on the basics every new Rhode Island driver needs: STOP and YIELD signs, traffic lights, seat belts, permit supervision, signaling, following distance, school buses, emergency vehicles, headlights, alcohol limits and what to do after a crash. The RI DMV does not publish the number of questions on its computerized knowledge exam or the pass mark, so this set uses our own practice size: 25 questions, with 20 correct (80 percent) as our practice target, not an official rule. There is no time limit on our sets. Every answer comes from the Rhode Island Driver's Manual (rev. 08/2015), the manual the DMV still offers.
Exam mode: timed, answers at the end, like the real test. Practice mode: untimed, the answer and explanation after each question.
