Rhode Island permit practice test 2
Twenty-five questions that build on the basics: four-way stops, hand signals, line colors, parking distances, the 500/200 headlight rule, skids, brake failure, bicyclists, blind pedestrians, under-21 alcohol limits, work zones and the permit's time rules. The RI DMV does not publish the number of questions on its computerized knowledge exam or the pass mark, so this set uses our own practice size: 25 questions, with 20 correct (80 percent) as our practice target, not an official rule. There is no time limit on our sets. Every answer comes from the Rhode Island Driver's Manual (rev. 08/2015), the manual the DMV still offers.
Exam mode: timed, answers at the end, like the real test. Practice mode: untimed, the answer and explanation after each question.
