Vermont permit practice test 1
Twenty questions on the basics every new Vermont driver needs: STOP and YIELD signs, traffic lights, the four-second following distance, the permit age, school buses, emergency vehicles, speed limits, roundabouts, alcohol, parking near hydrants and blind pedestrians. Every answer comes from the Vermont Driver's Manual (VN-007, 2025). The real Vermont knowledge test is taken online and has 20 multiple-choice questions, each with four answers and one correct, and you must get at least 16 right to pass. This set uses the same format: 20 questions, 16 correct to pass. The Vermont DMV does not state a time limit, and our sets have none.
Exam mode: timed, answers at the end, like the real test. Practice mode: untimed, the answer and explanation after each question.
