Virginia general knowledge practice test 3
Thirty general knowledge questions on the core rules at a steadier level: yellow lights, lane-use signals, pedestrian hybrid beacons, center turn lanes, bicycle boxes and lanes, curbs, driving too fast for conditions, school buses on divided roads, emergency and trash vehicles, passing on the right, opposing left turns, tailgaters, mirrors, trucks, parking on hills, ice, night driving, drowsy driving, alcohol with medicine, administrative suspension, demerit points, insurance, air bags, the under-18 curfew, crashes with parked cars and traffic tickets. Every answer comes from the Virginia Driver's Manual (DMV 39, April 2026) or the Virginia DMV's own pages. The real Virginia knowledge exam has two parts: 10 traffic sign questions, which you must all answer correctly, and 30 general knowledge questions, where you need 24 correct. This set practices the general knowledge part in the same format: 30 questions, 24 to pass. The traffic signs part has its own practice sets. There is no time limit.
Exam mode: timed, answers at the end, like the real test. Practice mode: untimed, the answer and explanation after each question.
