Virginia general knowledge practice test 5

Thirty harder general knowledge questions: passing trash trucks, speeding and work zone fines, following distance and response times, every parking distance, hill parking with a curb, over-correcting, light rail, towing trailers, HOV lanes, second-offense DUI suspension, open containers, DUI with a child passenger, underage drinking penalties, driver improvement clinics, what to collect after a crash, crash reports, registration deadlines, daylight-only licenses, road test retakes, solo driving with a DTS B certificate, child restraint fines and bicycle box turns. Every answer comes from the Virginia Driver's Manual (DMV 39, April 2026) and the Virginia DMV's own pages. The real Virginia knowledge exam has two parts: 10 traffic sign questions, which you must all answer correctly, and 30 general knowledge questions, where you need 24 correct. This set practices the general knowledge part in the same format: 30 questions, 24 to pass. The traffic signs part has its own practice sets. There is no time limit.

  • They are open to any vehicle at all hours, whatever the number inside
  • They are for buses only, at every hour of the day
  • They always carry traffic in the same direction, all day long
