Fifteen harder reading items in the four Duolingo English Test reading task types: Read and Select with academic vocabulary, Read and Complete on deep-sea light and the shipping container, Fill in the Blanks in academic sentences, and Interactive Reading on how the railways brought in standard time. This is the harder of our two reading sets. It is untimed and shows your raw score only. The real test is adaptive, so the questions get harder or easier as you answer; it takes about an hour, mixes all four skills and is scored from 10 to 160. Speaking and writing tasks are not scored here; see the guides for those.
