IELTS Academic Reading practice test 8

The most demanding of tests 5 to 8, in the real IELTS Academic Reading format: three passages and 40 questions in 60 minutes. Passage 1 examines the Little Ice Age (True/False/Not Given, summary completion and multiple choice). Passage 2 explains why bacteria resist antibiotics (matching information, sentence completion, True/False/Not Given and multiple choice). Passage 3 argues about how people judge risk (matching features, Yes/No/Not Given and summary completion). Answers to completion questions must be words from the passage within the word limit. Each correct answer earns one mark; the real test converts the raw score out of 40 to a band from 1 to 9.
