Illinois permit practice test 5
Twenty-five harder questions: merge, no-turn-on-red, downgrade and two-way left turn signs, roundabout exits, passing on the right, brake, gas pedal, power line and water emergencies, DUI revocation and THC limits, second-offender refusals, crash report thresholds and penalties, leaving the scene, suspensions and Restricted Driving Permits, pedestrian signals, stop lines, no-passing lines, abandoned vehicles, low-speed vehicles, scooters and daylight-only vision. Every answer comes from the Illinois Rules of the Road 2026. The Illinois Rules of the Road does not publish how many questions the real written exam has or the score needed to pass, so this set uses our own practice rule: 25 questions, 20 correct (80 percent) to pass. Signs are part of the same written exam, so sign questions are mixed in. No time limit is published; our sets have none.
Exam mode: timed, answers at the end, like the real test. Practice mode: untimed, the answer and explanation after each question.
