North Carolina permit practice test 2
Thirty questions that build on the basics: parking distances, passing, the Move Over law, school buses on divided highways, high and low beams, fog, child seats, the Level 1 driving log, supervising drivers, the 0.08 BAC limit and what happens if you refuse a breath test. Answers are based on the North Carolina Driver Handbook; a few sign meanings follow the national sign manual (MUTCD). NCDMV gives a knowledge test, which you pass with 80 percent correct (the number of questions is not published), and a separate traffic signs test, where you must identify 9 of 12 signs. Our set has 18 knowledge questions and 12 sign questions with pictures, and you need 24 of 30 (80 percent) to pass. Our engine scores the overall mark only, so check your sign answers too. Our sets have no time limit.
Exam mode: timed, answers at the end, like the real test. Practice mode: untimed, the answer and explanation after each question.
