Part 3 questions that follow this card
Part 3 broadens the topic into a discussion of four to five minutes. Give a view, a reason and an example each time.
- Why do some people hate waiting?
- Do modern gadgets make people less patient?
- In what situations is waiting acceptable?
- How could services reduce waiting times?
How to handle this card
Many candidates say little about the waiting itself. Describe what you saw, thought and did to pass the time, and finish with how the situation ended. Emotion words such as restless, relieved and anxious will help.
