Part 3 questions that follow this card
Part 3 broadens the topic into a discussion of four to five minutes. Give a view, a reason and an example each time.
- Why do many people keep pets?
- Should wild animals be kept in zoos?
- What can people do to protect endangered species?
- Do animals have an important role in human culture?
How to handle this card
You do not need to own the animal. You can talk about one you have seen in a film or at a zoo. Use clear description first: size, colour, movement and habits. Then give a personal reason.
