Part 3 questions that follow this card

Part 3 broadens the topic into a discussion of four to five minutes. Give a view, a reason and an example each time.

  1. What makes a teacher memorable?
  2. Should teachers be strict or friendly with students?
  3. How might the role of teachers change in the future?
  4. Do you think teachers are valued enough in society?
  5. Can a poor teacher put a student off a subject for life?

How to handle this card

Beyond the subject is the key phrase in the last prompt. Spend your final thirty seconds on a personal lesson, such as confidence or patience, rather than a fact from the syllabus.
